ABOUT ME
Charley Burlock is a freelance writer, editor, and audio producer, in Brooklyn. Her essays have appeared, most recently, in The Atlantic, AGNI, and The Los Angeles Review.
She is a current creative nonfiction MFA candidate and undergraduate creative writing instructor at New York University. In February of 2021, Charley graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, and with departmental honors from Middlebury College, where she was awarded the Stolley-Ryan Prize in English and American Literatures and the William B. Catton thesis prize.

Charley has been awarded fellowships at Bread Loaf and the Sewanee Writer’s Conference. She is currently working on a collection exploring the intersection of grief, landscape, and urban design.
